I made this purchase for a very specific space and for a specific purpose. I needed it to fit into basically dead space in my kitchen to hold my cookbooks. It worked like a charm! The unit is attractive and functional and goes well with a cabinet I purchased a while ago. It is surprisingly roomy and easy to clean. Just wipes clean with a damp cloth. The shelf was easily assembled within an hour. The easily adjustable twist feet made installing the unit simple with a perfect fit!
Strudy, strong read instructions first . I put it together by myself . But if you have two people thats better .I have bought three different units and Iam happy with all three . Old Bear here
We purchased this bookshelf to use as a end cap for a homemade pantry that we constructed from two L-shaped corner units. We love it because it was made from sturdy metal and wood for the shelves. Nothing cheap about this set. We would buy it again because it was money well spent.
Very happy with this purchase. It was just what I needed for the space, it was easy to assemble, it's sturdy and looks great!
My bookcase came quickly and was very well packaged. As usual, I checked each piece and every bag of screws against the diagram/instructions to make sure I had each item prior to assembly. Every piece was labeled including the bags of screws and other fasteners. I also separated the pieces and placed each piece with identifying stickers visible. Due to this, my total assembly time was about 2 hours, taking my time. Actual hands on assembly took about 1.5 hours and I did it alone. It was not difficult, but I am very detail oriented and I don't like having to redo things. The instructions were diagrams but relatively easy to understand. The unit is beautiful but was just a tad too deep for the space I bought it for. I put it in a different area and it's great! I wish they made one that was 11 inches deep, I would definitely purchase it for my original space.
