I love the design of the shelf! But there were a couple issues so I couldn't give it 5 stars.
Pros: Pretty easy to put together, instructions were good. I assembled it by myself (40F) and didn't have any issues. Has feet that you can adjust to even it out. Shelves took peel and stick wallpaper pretty well. Feels fairly sturdy for what it is. Again, love the style. Price is....fair at $150.
Cons: One of the holes for some of the wires in the back doesn't want to fit all the pieces it's supposed to. Took a pic to show what I mean. Eventually it came out again so only the straight back piece is screwed in. The other two will stay in place more or less if you tighten the other screw enough. I used some duct tape to tape them to the back of the shelf to help keep them in place and protect the wall. I think a little longer screw might help. I did try to adjust some things but it never worked and ended up making it worse I think. Also, the top peak doesn't quite fit together. This could be my fault when I put it together but I tried to adjust a few times and it just never quite went together. From far away it's not really noticeable.
Tips if you want to wallpaper the shelves. Do it before you assemble it. I used a 15.8x197 inch roll of peel and stick. I had some left over but not a ton (MAYBE enough to do 1 more shelf in theory). I recommend leaving enough on the ends to fold over about halfway on the sides of the shelves. The rack on the sides will cover the rest. Also leave enough to fold over the front/back so you can stick it from the top, over the back/front then underneath the shelf to the screw holes. I didn't do this and regret it. The pieces you screw underneath the shelves will cover the edges and you can't tell that the bottoms aren't fully covered. Make sure to poke the holes on the back of the shelves so you know where they are. Also highly recommend going over the sides, backs, and underneath with a credit card or similar to really help it stick properly. I only wiped any styrofoam off the shelves so wiping them off would probably would have helped.
Enjoying this bookshelf. My son easily put it together in no time. Very sturdy.
These book shelves are very sturdy and look beautiful. The assembly instruction could have been a bit more concise, but I am quite pleased with them. I think they were a great value for the money and would highly recommend
